OCAS was established by Ontario’s public colleges in 1991 to manage the domestic college application process. In the years that followed, we created a data warehouse to house information associated with those applications and successfully converted the application process from paper to electronic.

Today, our not-for-profit organization supports our partners in myriad ways, from managing domestic and international applications to leveraging data that powers insights for individual colleges, as well as the college system as a whole.

We help our partners in higher education focus on creating world-class student experiences by managing 400,000 domestic and international applications each year.

Helping Students Find Their Way

Last year our Contact Centre handled over 270,000 inquiries from learners in an effort to support, nurture, and celebrate their first steps into an exciting future.

Launching Post-Secondary Journeys

We work with guidance counsellors and admissions teams to process high school grade and transcript requests and help learners start their adventures in post-secondary education.
